We are very near, but not on, the main road through Kennington village. An urban environment but with the iconic River Thames nearby & the historic Bagley Woods.

Car or Taxi
For SAT NAV users our post code is OX1 5LR – Upper Road, Kennington. Stay on Upper Road until the cul-de-sac at the very end of Upper Road. Our ‘B&B’ is no 214; drive through the cul-de-sac; we are the last property on the right. The cost of a taxi from central Oxford to our ‘B&B’ is in the range of £8.00 to £12.00.
Bus
If you are travelling to our ‘B&B’ by bus from Oxford, really easy on Oxford Bus Company No 35 from St. Aldate’s Street (bus stop in front of Christ Church College). It only takes 15 minutes to Kennington. Leave the bus at the ‘Bagley Wood Road’ bus stop after the Village Pub on the left – we are very near this stop. Cross the road to the War Memorial, you will then see ‘Bagley Wood Road’. It’s a small road, walk up it for about 200m; you will then see a footpath on the right hand side of the road leading into Upper Road. Take the footpath & our ‘B&B’ is immediately on the left (no 214).
Useful TIP
If you plan to use the bus return to Oxford purchase a ‘Single Day Pass or Family Day Pass’ as it is valid for 24 hours (if you are staying more than 3 days ask for a ‘Cityzone’ Ticket). For full details go to www.oxfordbus.co.uk.
